The Italian Tenors is a classical crossover vocal trio that was formed in 2012 when their first album That’s Amore was released by the label Universal Music. Since then, they have released two more albums under the same label, and one self-produced album.
They reinterpret well known Italian opera arias, romanzas and pop songs, as well as international standards with their classically trained voices and through their own original arrangements. Their repertoire includes such songs as Lucio Dalla’s Caruso, the Love theme from the Godfather, Volare, Time to Say Goodbye, O Sole Mio, and many more. The Italian Tenors have appeared on numerous shows on main German, British, and Australian TV channels, and they love combining their music with witty and exciting entertainment during their performances.
The Italian Tenors are regularly accompanied on their tours and concerts by their Italian five-piece band (piano, bass/double bass, drums, cello and trumpet). On some special projects the band has been extended to include a guitar, an accordion, a mandolin, or a saxophone. On several occasions they have also performed with a big band or a full orchestra.
Today the trio consists of Evans Tonon, Luca Sala and Bruno Almeida. Evans studied music in London and Rome and has performed numerous lead roles in many Italian opera houses before joining The Italian Tenors. He is also a trained actor and voice actor, appearing regularly on Italian TV. Luca attended Milan’s Conservatory and besides singing he plays the flute and writes songs for many famous Italian artists, including a song that won the 2012 edition of the San Remo Festival. Bruno is a lyric tenor who performs lead roles both in opera and musical theatre productions; he also plays the guitar and has a passion for Latin-American music. Bruno joined The Italian Tenors in 2024
The Italian Tenors regularly perform all over Europe and have completed six tours in Australia. They are often invited in Germany, Greece, Switzerland, the Baltic States, Australia, Cyprus, Malta, Austria
